Will your inspector walk on the roof, crawl in the crawlspace, go into a dark basement, and climb into the attic?

Your inspector should be able and willing to go into the areas that have to be seen to protect the client. There are times when those locations cannot be inspected in their entirety due to the risk to the inspector, risk to the components, or seasonal limitations. But for the inspector not to inspect those areas because he doesn't want to, is scared of the dark, or is too large to fit into those areas is unacceptable. For our customers, Pillar To Post inspectors go places where others fear to step.

Does the report include photographs?

Many times the report will have descriptions of damage or defects in locations of the home that only the inspector was able to get to, such as the peak of the roof or the far corner of a crawl space. You have to have pictures of these areas so you can understand the extent and location of the damage. It also makes repairs and getting estimates much easier when there is a photograph. Pillar To Post includes photographs as an integral part of each home inspection.

When will the completed report be done and can it be emailed?

Often decision time is critical. You want to be sure you will receive the entire report in time to read it, understand it, and respond in time. Some inspection companies make you wait for days for your report. The best companies can hand you the report on-site, as the inspection is completed. Pillar To Post delivers your report when the inspection is done, complete so we can sit down and review it with you while still on site, where it is easiest to answer any questions you may have. Each home inspection comes in a handsome presentation binder, which becomes a valuable owner’s manual for your home!

Professional Training: Every Pillar To Post home inspector is trained in the classroom as well as on site. You can have confidence in the fact that all Pillar To Post inspectors are required to continually upgrade their skills and to keep current with new technologies and professional standards.

For the Homebuyer: You will gain an education of the home, top to bottom, so that you will know exactly what you are buying. Upon completion of the thorough inspection of your future home, our inspector will provide you with a comprehensive computer generated evaluation of the (up to 1,600) items visually checked during the inspection. This will include items that have been found or that you may have noticed prior to the inspection. This information will help you to buy with confidence knowing that a true professional has carefully evaluated and inspected your future home.

There's no need to wait for the information to be compiled and sent to you at a later date; the full, informative report will be printed and delivered to you before we leave the inspection. It also will include digital photos of relevant issues. For your convenience and that of your real estate professionals, the report can also be viewed via secure website or email copy.

For the Home Seller: For sellers, a pre-listing inspection can detect previously unknown problems or potential upgrades that you wish to address prior to selling your home. Being aware of issues in advance will allow for disclosure of problems, which can result in smoother transactions for all parties.

For the Real Estate Professional: You can recommend Pillar To Post to your clients with confidence knowing that we offer professionalism and service that out performs our competition. We are E&O and General Liability insured, and this insurance covers your client and you as the referring party. Our inspectors are clean, respectful, and honest in the way they perform the inspection and work with clients.
